I love pizza and Camas, so you put those two together and you get some of the best tasting pizza which has some of the best crust with a friendly environment and it makes the whole experience AWESOME! I think it actually makes the food taste even better. I keep things simple and love the pepperoni and/or pepperoni & pineapple the with light herbs. I always test pizza the next day and to my surprise the pizza reheated just about as good as it was fresh, although everyone knows you cannot beat fresh, but this is by far the best reheat I have ever had! Do yourself a favor and get over to Camas and visit Backpacker Pizza and tell them Jeremiah Stephen with State Farm said he really appreciates the Draft Rootbeer as well!!!! Make sure you say hey to Rod which is pictured with my pie to go in the pictures.
All of the staff in this restaurant are so amazing I had my 22nd birthday here and they were so accommodating and nice the whole entire time I reserved for a party of 13 and they’re ended up being about 23 of us and they just kept adding tables and chairs as family and friends arrived and it took all the stress off of me! Not to mention the food was delicious one of their chefs Mikey was extremely helpful and brought out so many amazing dishes and their team made my experience the best birthday I’ve ever had thank you backpacker pizza ! 100000/10 I’ll definitely be back
Backpackers Pizza has us so impressed! The quality of the pizza was top notch. You can tell how much detail & thought was put into each one of them. And crust was delish! The service was great!! We were greeted upon entry & seated within minutes. This little charm in downtown Camas is casual & also family friendly. Next time we will be bringing our kiddos. I would say the pizza is high class tho! Don’t hesitate to try them & it will be your new favorite pizza place. Because it now is ours
Finally got to try this place! I placed an online order and picked it up. The time estimate was right on the money. The gentleman up front was incredibly friendly and helpful. Customer service here seems to be great. We got the special and the thru hiker and holy cow, we expected it to be good, but this was next level! Tons of toppings, and every bite was like a different experience. The cheese was really top notch and don’t get me started on the pork belly. I became the emoji that has hearts as eyes. Our expectations were pretty high based on word of mouth, and both pizzas absolutely exceeded them in every way. We will most certainly be back! May update: We tried the supreme and the caprese with prosciutto and were blown away by both. The Caesar salad was PHENOMENAL. Really fresh greens and their dressing is outstanding. We will always order a salad going forward.
Absolutely loved this place! The service was great, and the food exceeded our expectations. My mom and I came in for lunch and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We both ordered gluten-free pizzas, which were delicious, and my mom also tried one of their pasta dishes and was really impressed. To top it off, we were given a complimentary gluten-free brownie as they’re testing a new dessert and it was phenomenal! We’re already looking forward to coming back.
A picture perfect pizzas. Well constructed. If their crust was half the size, or, more airy (less dense?), and they took a little more risk on the bottom... if successful...it would sit among the gods, and pizza people would make their pilgrimage to bask in its glory.
Incredible food served by the kindest people. The pizza here is made using fresh ingredients, SO yummy, and the crust is the best I’ve ever had - so flavorful. If I could give 10 stars, I would. My brother is vegan and normally that’s a total buzz-kill but not here! He got a *delicious* pizza! A community-centered place that serves the best pizza ... what more could you ask for? This is my new favorite pizza place and it blows the others out of the water.
My husband and I had a wonderful lunch today! Jen was very welcoming (even before they opened). The food was delish and the service superb. Thru-Hiker did not disappoint.We had the best Caesar salad-disclaimer-not what you expect but it blows your mind and taste buds! Cory was very friendly as he closed our tab. Our high schooler loved his pepperoni pizza to go order. We can't wait to be back and try a different pizza. We will definitely be back!
